Ceramic & tweed pin cusions (rounded) - Made in UK

£25.00

Product

I really loved sourcing all the different bits for these pin cushions.  My pottery teacher, Steve, throws the pots and I glaze them.  I source Harris Tweed for the pin material and fill it with lavender flower heads (grown in England and France)  and noil (by-product from spinning yarn) from the John Arbon Textiles mill.

When you place or take pins from the cushion, you are releasing the lavender scent - it's lovely.

There is a handful of glaze and tweed colours to choose from.

The pottery is less than five miles from my studio, making this is a truly Cheshire-made product.

Number 5 is a wee bit wonky and therefore a bit cheaper.  It has a bit of glaze creep and a random little streak of turquoise glaze on it.  The joys of a multi-use pottery!

Postage and Packaging

You can read all about P&P here.

The P&P costs applied are very transparent.  No additional costs are added on, you simply pay for the cost of packaging and the cost of postage.  I don't offer free P&P because what that usually means is that the cost of P&P has been added to the cost of goods.  I think it is better to assume that my customers aren't daft and would rather have transparent P&P costs than the pretence of 'Free P&P' with inflated prices on the items that they are buying.
