KIT for Mini Mania Socks

£29.00

Product

Mini Mania socks are knitted cuff down using mini skeins so that you can get the perfect 5-row stripe repeat.

There is a cunning technique which means that although you don't carry yarns along with the sock, you still only have six ends to weave in per sock.

The kit has enough yarn to knit two pairs of socks (size dependant).  The examples shown are UK size 7 and size 5.

What's in the kit:

  • 1 x hardcopy of the pattern
  • 1 x automatic digital pattern (sent immediately after checkout)
  • 7 x 20g of RiverKnits British Bluefaced Leicester 4 ply wool (see below for more information)
  • 1 x Fay Dashper-Hughes Designs embroidered bag

Pattern Tutorial: To accompany this pattern I have created a pattern tutorial. This is available through a private YouTube link that can only be accessed by people that have bought the pattern.

The tutorial takes you through the materials needed, sock construction, key techniques used in the pattern

If you make these socks please do upload your WIP and FOs on Ravelry. It would be great to see it on Instagram too - #MiniManiaSocks #FayDHDesigns @faydhdesigns

Product materials, sourcing and PoM Rating

This product was originated by me at Fay Dashper-Hughes Designs.  I work with a local printer and they help me to source recycled paper for my patterns.  This pattern is printed on paper that is manufactured using wind power,100% recycled post-consumer fibre and carbon neutral.  The yarn is grown in Britain, spun in Peru and hand-dyed in the UK.  The bags are made in China and embroidered in Cheshire, England

Postage and Packaging

You can read all about P&P here.

The P&P costs applied are very transparent.  No additional costs are added on, you simply pay for the cost of packaging and the cost of postage.  I don't offer free P&P because what that usually means is that the cost of P&P has been added to the cost of goods.  I think it is better to assume that my customers aren't daft and would rather have transparent P&P costs than the pretence of 'Free P&P' with inflated prices on the items that they are buying.
