Nostepinnes - made in UK
Product
A lovely selection of hand-carved nostepinnes. These are used for hand-winding yarn into balls.
I first came across Ballynagran during a trip to Northern Ireland and fell in love with their craft skills and ethos of using locally-harvested wood - often gained from wind-blown trees.

Using the spinners
The nostepines are hand-turned and can be used straight away. Each piece has been either oiled or waxed.
Rather than try to explain how you use them, here is a useful video that I found - link.
Nostepinne dimensions
Approximately 30cm long with a shaft of about 21cm for winding the yarn on to.
Product materials, sourcing and PoM Rating
This product was hand-turned in Northern Ireland, using woods local to the Ballynagran Estate. These spinners can only be posted via My Hermes and as an insured item, hence the higher P&P cost. If a partial refund can be given on P&P costs, it will be.
Postage and Packaging
You can read all about P&P here.
The P&P costs applied are very transparent. No additional costs are added on, you simply pay for the cost of packaging and the cost of postage. I don't offer free P&P because what that usually means is that the cost of P&P has been added to the cost of goods. I think it is better to assume that my customers aren't daft and would rather have transparent P&P costs than the pretence of 'Free P&P' with inflated prices on the items that they are buying.
