Recycled pencils - pack of 2, choose from three colours

£1.50

Product

The perfect project bag pencil should be: bright enough to find in the depths of your project bag; have dark enough lead to score off completed parts of your pattern charts, but not so dark that it won't rub out, and made in the UK from 100% recycled plastic.  So, that is a tick, tick, tick and tick for the KNIT IT- HOOK IT - CRAFT IT pencil then!

I searched long and hard for a pencil that would fulfil my criterion as a crafter. Hopefully, you will agree that this is the perfect project bag pencil.

Using these pencils

I have deliberately sourced a 100% recycled pencil that is also cost-effective enough that you can have one in each of your project bags (assuming that you are like me and have multiple WIPs at any one time?).

The only thing that makes this pencil even better is also buying the pencil topper to accompany it.  This protects the pencil lead and ensures that you don't get lead on your project.  Oh, and it is also the perfect rubber - I checked that too!

Pencil dimensions

  • Pencil is approximately 17cm long by 0.7cm diameter.
  • Rubber is approximately 4cm long and 1cm in diameter (sold separately).
  • Pencil and rubber together are approximately 18.5cm long.

Weights given are approximated to provide the best estimate for postage and packaging costs only.

Product materials and sourcing and PoM Rating

This product was sourced by me at KNIT IT - HOOK IT - CRAFT IT.   They are manufactured in England from 100% recycled plastic, predominantly from CD cases.

Postage and Packaging

You can read all about P&P here.

The P&P costs applied are very transparent.  No additional costs are added on, you simply pay for the cost of packaging and the cost of postage.  I don't offer free P&P because what that usually means is that the cost of P&P has been added to the cost of goods.  I think it is better to assume that my customers aren't daft and would rather have transparent P&P costs than the pretence of 'Free P&P' with inflated prices on the items that they are buying.
